“Cold Fact”, the lost gem of an album from the early ’70s has been a favorite at IODA since it was first encoded back in early June ’08, so we were definitely star-struck when Rodriguez dropped by IODA Headquarters last week in his trademark suit and sunglasses. The night before around 10 IODAns made it out to his show-stopping performance at the Great American Music Hall with Entrance Band and SF local favorites, Sleepy Sun. While visiting, he told us about an eerie shriek he heard backstage at the Great American (that venue really is haunted!), his extensive touring across South Africa and Australia and the upcoming reissue of another Rodriguez album from Light in the Attic. Exciting news!
