Cherry Red Records started out as Cherry Red Promotions in 1971. They put together events for Malvern’s live punk scene and in 1978 made the decision to put out an album by the tragically overlooked local punk heroes, The Tights, and now 30 years later, Cherry Red Records is still going strong; releasing and reissuing innovative and independent thinking music.
