This Canadian electro-pop trio features husband and wife Dan Kurtz (bass) and Martina Sorbara (vocals). On “Pick Up the Phone”, Sorbara’s sugary vocals bring to mind Gwen Stefani and Katy Perry in cool-and-composed mod, as she please with someone she’s just married shotgun-style to pick up the phone so they can reconnect and continue setting the town afire.
