The Cuban-American’s debut album, Búscame (released Nov. 10, 2009), written and produced by mega producer Rudy Perez, garnered the highest Latin chart debut ever for a new artist on an independent label, reaching certified gold status within just a couple of months. According to Soundscan, Jencarlos has been the #1 selling new Latin Pop artist released in the past two years.
